The following

A.
Pastoral Care:
A team of Pastors,
appointed by the Session, serve for oversight of members in
need/crisis. On call monthly, these men and women monitor our
membership and contact those who may be encountering stress due to
illness, death, hospitalization, family crisis, etc.

C. Meals From
the Inn:
Meals from the Inn is a partnership
between MRA and MPC to provide congregational care by offering "at
home" lunch type meals (soup/and or sandwich, salad and dessert) on
Thursdays of each week through May 2009 at a nominal cost of $3.00 per
lunch. The purpose of the “Meals from the Inn” is to extend
congregational care and concern to members of MPC who may be confined
at times because of illness, recovery from surgery, or physical
limitations. It is the hope of
the Congregational Care Committee and the MRA that “Meals from the Inn”
will provide both food and fellowship in the care of MPC members.

In cooperation with
the Session, the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper is offered to
homebound members.
